Most Luck I Have Had In 20 Years

This is a cut and paste from my post in the Carnival Forum.

We just got back from a five night cruise on The Liberty. We had a comped inside cabin and upgraded to a Grand Suite for $350.00 each.

The casino, where we spend way too much time playing Blackjack was really good to us. We had a comped steakhouse meal and some sort of treat in our cabin every night from the casino host, Kris. We also had drinks us cards from the get go.

Any time I wanted a $25.00 table opened they accommodated us. All of the $6.00 tables now pay 6:5 for a blackjack. $10.00 and higher tables still pay 3:2.

Drink service was great and all of the dealers were friendly and proficient. Even all of the pit critters were congenial.

We had one of the best casino experiences we have had in quite a while. We won the first night and never had to dip into our gambling budget the rest of the trip. The next to last night we won quite a bit and then on the last night we really blew it out and at one point we were putting out $15.00 and sometimes $25.00 tips for the dealers, if that tells you how well the gambling was going.

Congratulations, its great to hear of people doing well x Hopefully I'll have a bit of luck when i board Liberty in 13 Days. Not a gambler and defo not skilled at games. Might just stick to Roulette & Slots

Go here for a basic strategy cheat sheet that you can use at the tables. Carnival uses six decks and the dealer hits soft 17. They do not offer surrender.

We prefer the plain English version

Once you print the BS Chart go here to practice your game

Once you learn BJ you will never look back IMHO.

Best way to play. What I do now is go in partners with my son and he is great at this system. Works good for us.

My wife and I always play together. Some people hate to gamble with their spouse, it works for us. We keep each other in line, you know too much booze, losing too much money or better yet won enough for one day (yea that happens every 20 years or so).

We have a rule, anytime either one of feels like it is time to get up, switch tables or just quit for the day the other agrees to it, no questions asked.

Yep it works for us to gamble as a team.
