Beach/activity recommendation

My husband and I will be in port for the day. We are in our early 50s and very active. I'd love to get away from the crowds and find a quieter beach, but still with some amenities. I looked into renting bikes and biking on the western side, but am a bit concerned about how safe that is. Would like a combination of getting some exercise and relaxing on the beach. Thanks!

Playa Palancar is farther away and tends not to attract the crowds. Good facilities, beach, food & service. Snorkeling is reportedly okay. Taxi will be about $25 each way.

Money Bar is closer ($11 cab ride) and offers better snorkeling from the shore. The lack of a beach tends to keep the families and crowds away. Good facilities, service, food, drinks, etc.
