Tampa flight time after disembarkation

Sailing on the Ryndam for the first time out of Tampa in late January. Wondering what would be a comfortable time for a return flight after disembarkation? Do not like to feel rushed when on vacation. Would a noon flight be alright? Have read about some construction on the highways going on, possible fog delaying the ship from docking. Will be returning on a Sunday if that matters.

The last two Legend cruises that I kept track of that were delayed by fog did not arrive in port until around 230pm and 530pm. Under normal circumstances, not before noon.

How often does this happen?

Fog is a hit or miss thing...We have sailed out of Tampa 5 times and never been delayed by fog. We have comfortably taken a flight out of Tampa as early as 10am but that was with early debarkation...if you don't want to be rushed then your best bet is noon or later..

We had a 12:20 flight last Sunday and were checked in and at our gate by 10:45. We debarked the Legend at 930 and our transportation picked us up at the port at 10.
