We are joining P&O Arcadia in Sydney next February and would like to purchase some decent wine and maybe some vodka and gin, mixers and 'nibbles' to take on for us to drink in our cabin. Info on nearest place would be appreciated.

I am presuming the Arcadia will be at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay.

Probably the best place for you to find what you want is the Mr Liquor Bottle Shop on Wharf No 3 right at Circular Quay (BTW in Oz they are Bottle Shops...you would call them an "off License")

Here is their web site:

You might want to check if there are any restrictions on taking spirits on board...most other lines will only allow 2 bottles of wine.

cheers

Thanks. Will have a look.

As far as I know P&O allows a 'reasonable' amount of alcohol. Would only want to take a couple of bottles of wine or a box/bag and maybe small bottles of vodka and gin 😄

This is not the closest but still only a very short walk from the cruise terminal. Just go fractionally further and head towards the Manly ferry terminal on Circular Quay. Then walk up either Young or Phillip St and go to the IGA grocery store in the AMP tower with entrances off both Young and Phillip strts. There is also a fantastic food hall on the same floor (Phillip St level). Located directly opposite the Police & Justice Museum Phillip St frontage. (Also worth a visit).

They have wine available to suit all tastes from cheap to the most expensive including a collectors selection of Penfolds Grange.
