Port or Starboard (Caribbean)?

Hi,

I'll be cruising to the Caribbean this December from Southamption. This will be visiting Antigua, BVI, St. Maarten, St. Lucia and Barbados.

As this is North to South with the ports mostly Leeward, I took it that a cabin on the Portside would be the best. However, I'm now questioning my logic.

Has anyone got some real life experience of which side was best.

Cheers,

Jonjo

There is no "logic"...the captain will try and switch it up at each port, so everyone has a chance at facing the dock. I find facing AWAY from the dock to be more private. You will have views everywhere....you're in a harbor, so there's stuff to see all around you.
