Jewel of the Seas - Docking?

Kudos2fly,

The last time we were in Dominica (on the Celebrity Equinox) we docked at the downtown Roseau Cruise Ship Dock with the starboard side of the ship facing land and the MSC Orchestra, which docked at the Woodbridge Bay Cruise Ship dock, also docked with the starboard side facing land.

Just to complicate matters, there is only room for one ship to dock at Roseau and the ship can dock either way (port or starboard). The same is also true at Woodbridge Bay. If there are more than 2 large ship the additional ships will have to tender.

Hopefully passengers who have cruised on the Jewel of the Seas will also let you know how they docked.

Thank for the reply. We were there last in 2006 and dock at Roseau. We dock on the port side and saw a picture of the Jewel was on the port side.

So based on the "IF" we are dock at Roseau we maybe on the port. So we had them move our room to the port side. Although your never know for sure.

I've been to Roseau on Adventure of the Seas and Celebrity Summit and both docked on the port side. (Always works for me since I'm left handed. :D

In the end, it's all about having a great time no matter which side of the ship your cabin faces.
