Restaurants

Does anyone have suggestions for a nice restaurant with atmosphere on St. Thomas or St. John's? I am not on a ship but staying for a week, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I don't like spicy or unusual, so plain food would be good. I'm not very experimental or adventurous when eating out.:D

Moondawgie: Hope you and Gidget will have a great time.;) On St. Thomas, a few of my favs are: Mim's (seafood, seating on the water), Banana Tree Grill (above town with a wonderful view, delicious food and great service) and Grande Cru (overlooking megayachts at Yacht Haven Grande.) On St. John (no 's) I think the most atmospheric restaurant is Zozo's, built on the ancient sugar mill at Caneel Bay. Love their ossobuco.

Looking for a good lunch restaurant on St. John. Either somewhere out around the island while doing an island tour or back close to the ferry.

My favorite is the Sun Dog Cafe in Mongoose Junction.:D Can do a little shopping and people watching and have some great food and drinks.
