pier location in Athens Jewel of the Seas

Hi

I am sailing on the Jewel of the Seas (Sept 28) it will be in Athens (Piraeus) Oct 4.

Does anyone know the pier number or location it will be docked at. I am thinking of taking the metro from the pier to

downtown Athens. From what I have read it could be a 20 minute walk or 40 minute walk to

the metro depending on the pier location. Thank you

We were on the Jewel 2 weeks ago and it docked at terminal B. I don't know if it always docks there however. We took the X 80 bus to Athens. It stops at the Acropolis and Syntagma Square. You walk through the terminal, buy tickets at the kiosk and the bus stop is across the street.

Hi. Casey2. Thank you for replying. Did you have to walk far to get the bus?

Did you buy a ticket to see the Acropolis and did it come with a English speaking tour guide at the Acropolis?

We had to walk all through the terminal- about a 10 minute walk. We did not go to the Acropolis as we had already been there. When we were there last, we bought our ticket at the gate. There were guides at the gate. Guides are not cheap, but you can get a few English speaking people together and split the cost. My advice is to go early as the Acropolis gets very crowed and very hot.

We got off at the Syntagma square stop, which is the stop after the Acropolis.
