Good beach in Rhodes?

what beach has anyone been to & do you prefer beach day in Rhodes or Mykonos? We've been to both before so we've seen Old Town & Lindos. The beaches along the bus ride to Lindos looked really inviting. Thx!

If you want a shallow bay with very calm waters and an action packed beach with lots of places to eat, drink and shop, then Faliraki is a good option.

If you want something relaxing, relatively private and relaxing, then avoid Faliraki like the plague.

Ladiko beach is lovely and quite secluded (but with good facilities).

Kalithea Springs is at a lovely bay. It is a sort of beach club and you have to pay a few Euros to get on the property. The last one is a love it or hate it place.

No. 1 sounds too touristy. No. 2 sounds good but any place to eat?? I'm intrigued by no. 3, why love it or hate it?? Thanks for the ideas, I will investigate further.

#2 is a full service beach. All facilities are there. Taxi from Rhodes town/port should be around 30 Euros.

The picturesque Anthony Quinn beach / bay is very near by. You could do both in a day.

But get to either beach early. They DO fill up from around 10
