kandj05 Posted April 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2017 What Hilton hotel do you recommend staying at in Baltimore? The closer to the port, the bettet. Sent from my SM-G900V using Forums mobile app
kingston13 Posted April 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2017 The only one I have stayed in and staying again next week is The Hilton Garden BWI. Not close to the port but price is good. They shuttle you to local restaurants and I found the G&M to be awesome!
MattSaw Posted April 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2017 If you don't mind my hijacking the post a little: What's a good hotel in Baltimore that will let you leave you leave your car during your cruise? Many thanks. Matt Raleigh, NC
PCHENG Posted April 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2017 The closest Hilton property to port, distance wise, would be Hilton or Hampton Inn next to the convention center. With that said, I would stay at the Homewood Suites or HGI near Harbor East, much better area than the convention center, which is basically deserted at night. Agreed- although Inner Harbor is not too far of a walk from the Convention Center.

Many thanks. Matt Raleigh, NC Holiday Inn Express down on Russell Street has a package deal- stay one night with 8 nights of parking. The hotel is kind of in a weird area though- it is right in between M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens) and Camden Yards (Orioles) so if wanting to catch a game before you cruise this would be a perfect spot, but other than for that you are not really walking distance to anything aside from the Casino (well, let me add- no where that you'd feel safe to walk to at night). http://www.hiebaltimorehotel.com/baltimore-cruise-port Or- look into hotels that are further out- near BWI airport. Not much nightlife around the airport hotels but Inner Harbor area/ Canton area are only 30 minutes away so if you have your car you can easily drive to have a nice meal and see some touristy sights. flowers44 Posted April 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2017 DH and I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Russell Street. The parking area was partially covered and gated. We ate supped at the Casino next door and then returned to the hotel. Some of the other cruise people there planned on attending a ball game that night. The shuttle service was great and the pick up went just like they told us it would. I would stay there again if we sail out of Baltimore another time.
