Going to be in Ocho Rios the middle of January, does the water get colder or is it about the same all the year round?

I don't know about year round temps but I did it in January and was on the chilly side but not bad. However my husband thought it was really cold (I grew up in New England and spent a lot of time in very cold rivers and the ocean)

Everything i read says the water stays similar year round. It is chilly when u first start but your body gets used to it.
