LAX Post-cruise hotel

We have an early AM flight the day after we disembark from Vision of the Seas in San Pedro. It's best for us to stay in a hotel near LAX. If RCI has a shuttle (as they did last year) we can take that to LAX, but would have to get to lower level to catch a hotel shuttle. Is that doable?

If RCI doesn't offer a shuttle, are cabs usually available at the port waiting to pick up passengers?

You will find plenty of cabs as well as shuttles. You can get a set price for a cab to or from LAX (recommended) and the shuttles run about $17 each for shared shuttles, more for exclusive. You can reserve a shuttle, shared or private, or a town car through http://www.supershuttle.com

I would do that rather than take the more expensive and less convenient cruise bus service to the airport.
