Very early disembarkation in Harwich

Hello everyone

Just wondering if anyone has run into this situation before and could give some advice.

Our ship is scheduled to return to Harwich at 4 am. Does anyone know whether we could self disembark shortly thereafter? Is immigration open that early? We would be trying to get to Heathrow by 9 am to make a noon flight.

Thanks for any insights.

I doubt that even unassisted dis-embarkation will be much before 7am.

You'd need a private transfer from the pier.

Whether you'd make a noon flight depends on the day of the week.

- On a weekend the prospects are pretty good.

- On a weekday the M25 orbital road around London at that time of day will be clogged with traffic - it's often described as Europe's biggest parking lot. Half of of your 110 mile journey is on that orbital road. It's still more likely you'll make your flight than miss it (check in up to at least 10.30am), but it's a huge risk & one I'd not want to take.

What date?

And if you miss it, will your flight tickets be transferable to next day at minimal cost, or thrown in the trash can ?

I'm presuming there's no suitable later flight.

If there is, it's a no-brainer.

JB :)
