Ventura - Caribbean translantic March 15

Hi everybody

We are thinking of booking the P&O Ventura cruise next March. Flying to Barbados and sailing back to Southampton. Just wondering if anybody has any idea of what the Atlantic is likely to be like in March.

We have just returned from a cruise to the Canaries and had a very choppy cruise due to the hurricane from Bermuda.

We have done a transatlantic in spring from the Caribbean. As you are heading towards the Azores you are staying pretty horizontal from the Caribbean and should have pretty good weather all the way. It only starts to get questionable from the Azores up to Southampton. That part, you cannot predict. At least Ventura has a covered pool if the weather isnt great. We were in the English Channel the day before we disembarked and were on the deck sunning ourselves. You just cannot guarentee the weather.

We travelled from the Caribbean back to Southampton in March and the weather was good most of the way back. A little cooler after the Azores but still warm enough to sit outside with a book the day before we were due back in Southampton. The sea was fairly calm most of the way back
