packyourpixiedust Posted December 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2014 We are cruising in January on the Magic out of Port Canaveral and have a 2 pm flight... I won't be in a hurry to get off the ship, but at the same time I don't want to stand in the longest line in the universe (which is how it felt when we were getting off the Fantasy this past March.) This next cruise we will be in a 1 bedroom with Concierge. Do they do anything for Concierge guest leaving the ship?? can I leave at 8:45-9 and still get the benefit of a concierge exit? moki'smommy Posted December 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2014 You can stay in your suite until 9:00 and you can order a breakfast from room service on the last morning. These are concierge perks. Normal cabins have no room service on the last morning and must exit their cabins by 8:00. There is rarely a line for disembarkation from the ship; on the rare occasions when there is one, the concierge can escort you out, avoiding the line. Once you are off the ship, you are out of DCL's control. Sorry, but you get to go thru Customs and to your transportation just like everyone else. packyourpixiedust Posted December 17, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Thank you for this response. Getting off the ship was our biggest delay the last trip. Customs with a porter was easy breezy. Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app
Nectarologist Posted December 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2014 You will have no trouble with the magic. I would feel comfortable taking a 11 am flight(& have) even w/o the concierge. Enjoy your trip! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
