Captain Gennaro Arma

We have been told that Captain Gennaro Arma is not well, and will not be back to sea until the end of the year.

We have sailed with him on so many voyages, the last being from Cape Town to Barcelona, from February to April this year, and were very sorry to hear this.

He is a brilliant Captain, always conscious of the passengers' safety, is charming and a delightful and entertaining host.

He has recently split his tour of duty between the Spirit and the Wind, and seemingly he will have been away for six months by the time of his return.

We wish him a speedy recovery and sincerely hope that we can sail with him again next year.
