Advice-Tromso

I need advice on Tromso please. We are in port from 8-5. We have reserved a car. Our plans are the following:

Arctic Church

go to the top of Mt. Storsteinen

The reason for the car rental is to do the Tromso-Sommaroy-Tromso drive which I believe is 75 miles roundtrip. If I'm wrong please correct me.

Will we be able to get this all down and be back to the ship in time?

The Arctic Cathedral is just across the fjord from the cruise port. Many people walk. There is street parking available next to the Cathedral.

You might also want to look into the Polar Exploration museum in Tromso. It is fascinating. You can skip the Polaris museum/aquarium. Very disappointing. Walk from your ship over to the Roald Amundsen statue if you get a chance.

Can't comment on the drive, but it would seem that it should be do-able in the time you have if you can get your car quickly upon arrival.
