Frightened to check the prices. Someone said the more they are checked, the more they go up :eek: Is this really true? :rolleyes:

I think there's an element of that Linda - but how about going onto the other Thomson website and just asking for 'Caribbean' for the dates you're interested in. That will throw up Celebration amongst lots of others - then they won't know which ship you're really interested in!!!!

My theory might not work but I'm not keen on the Big Brother element of using the internet! I get adverts up for things I came across in passing sometimes and think 'What the...?' and woe betide you if you show too much interest in a particular item........that will keep popping up to the point that my interest in it is squashed because I get so cross with them invading my computer!!!!

It's a myth about the prices going up the more you check.

People constantly say the airlines do that, but it's very much a case of prices going up as tickets in cheaper fare buckets are sold and the prices go up and people get annoyed and make it out to be one huge conspiracy. It's simply a matter of first to buy gets the cheapest seat.

However with Thomson Cruises the prices fluctuate and the drinks package is often cheaper or free so I never know what the best policy is as to booking with them.

If im doubt, use incognito/in private browsing, or revisit a site from a different device. That way the travel sites can't track you.
