Half Day Frederiksted Sail and Beach Break

Yes, I did it last year. Basically it is just a sail up and down the coast. You do not even loose sight of the ship.

Nice sail, and LOTS of rum punch. They anchor in front of a beach and you can swim in and buy drinks or something to eat, or just enjoy the water for a while.

However, there is no snorkeling, and no real sightseeing, just the flat coastline.

I believe Big Beards leaves form C'sted (other side of the island), and goes to Buck Island to snorkel, so there is really no comparison.

If you just want to relax on the water, take this one. If you want to snorkel, maybe you should look for another vendor that does a half day trip..

We've actually decided to do a beach day in St. Croix as we're doing a lot of sailing/catamaran/snorkeling for the remainder of our port intensive cruise:) Deciding between Buccaneer and Sand Castle, unless someone has another option? We do love a calm ocean/bay and a pool to dip into occasionally:)
