SUP and kayaks

We will be stopping in Costa Maya in Dec. I have been to this port before but it was over 10 years ago. I can not believe how much has changed. At the time I was there you were lucky if there were chairs on the beaches. LOL

This time we have 3 teens with us and I am assuming with the increase in visitors there has been an increase in amenities. A couple things they REALLY want to do are kayak and paddle board. I am hoping to find a beach that would offer both of these amenities. I am not interested in an AI, as our time in port is very short. (7-2)

I have been very surprised that this is not an easy thing to find.

Thank you for any help/advice.
