Side of POA?

You will find reasons for both sides of the ship ... I prefer the Port side ... mostly for the Friday sail-by of the Kauai NaPali coast. I like to do it on my lanai and not up with the others on open decks. The sail-by is done with the Port side to the coast first, closest and longest, then the ship u-turns, and does the right side at a faster speed, and somewhat further away. And the whole thing is timed for the Port side having the best late afternoon sun on the coast.

As for the sailing routes, its all up to you. The position in ports, same thing....also depends which way the pull in and have to tie-up. Kona, does not matter....tender port.

Sail-by the Volcanoes, if they are pumping...right side....or go to an open deck.
