sappygirl Posted July 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2009 Does anyone know if there is a special number you can use to contact a Carnival Cruise line passenger in the case of an emergency? Thanks! They can call the Carnival toll free number and give them your name and what ship you are on. They will in turn contact the ship. If you are working with a pvp you can give them their number also. CalifCruiser1 Posted July 9, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2009 The number is in the booklet in your documents. I have to leave it with my kids when we cruise. but tell them try the cell phone first! barbgazz Posted July 9, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2009 FYI Make sure it's an emergency they can do something about before you ruin their vacation. While we were on our cruise, my mother-in-law passed away. We told everybody not to call us if this happened, but to plan the services for after we got back from our cruise. barbevrn Posted July 9, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 9, 2009 We usually get a few minutes of internet service and check email once or twice per day. Most of the time we have at least one US port that does not have roaming charges and choose that day to make phone calls. We have also left our cell phone on without having the huge bills that I read about here. We also leave that emergency number in the brochure, but have never had to make use of it after 10 plus years in cruising. {{knock on wood}}
