Key West Island Bookstore

Their website is for sale and there hasn't been a post on FaceBook for ages. Is it still open?

If it isn't, is there one you might recommend? I love used bookstores and would love to visit one while we are there.

Is there any special place for postcards? I plan on buying and mailing some from there and some to bring home.

It was open as of last July. It would be a shame if it closed as it was the last book store in Old Town.

You can't walk very far without seeing racks of postcards, including the Walgreens and CVS, but for a few that are more special, look into Last Flight Out at 1000 Duval St. They have nice merchandise, too.

Thanks, peter. I actually called their number....what an idea ;) Anyway, for anyone else interested, they are open still. Looking forward to a browse and will definitely check Last Flight Out. Thanks for that tip.

Found the bookstore, but it was pretty tiny and we found a book despite the poor help from the guy at the desk, who said there were no books by the bestselling author we were looking for. A tiny place and pretty disorganized.

Found some great postcards all over with the best price being 30 cents a piece.
