Venetian Royalty

Attended a Venetian cocktail party last year and came in second place; permitting us with the pleasure of nice diner with the first place couple and the Captain. Not going to very many of these events and having such a great time, thought we would show-up at the first leg party of the World Cruise. Was astonished to see you needed 1200+ days to even be considered. Needless to say I ordered a double Martini and left with my tail between my legs. Pondering these Royals land life, or if they even have one? Also at what financial cost this must represent? Knowing this cruise lines have not been around forever, these Royals must do more than just a World Cruise every year…. After that, we don’t plan on wining or placing in any Venetian events, in our upcoming cruises in 2015. Just wondering is this the new competition levels? Could there be others with higher sea days? Or was this some sort of abnormality…
