Pride of America during Easter week 2017

Has anyone been onboard the Pride of America over Easter?

We are considering this cruise next year and am curious if there were any special festivities or meals? Were there more families on board?

We disembarked the day before Easter this year and there wasn't anything special planned around the holiday other than a "religious service" in the theater on Palm Sunday.

We did meet another couple who had put together a small, Christian worship service that we attended in the chapel that same day and a second one on Good Friday. These services were more personal and meaningful to us and aligned with our faith, unlike the larger one in the theater. Other than being allowed to meet in the chapel, there was no involvement from the ship's crew in the planning...nor was the service announced in the Freestyle Daily.

I will mention that our cruise was unique because it was an 11-day cruise from San Francisco following the POA drydock.

The one way that we were impacted by the holiday was that there was a large parade celebrating Prince Kuhio in Waikiki on the day we disembarked. Not sure if this is always scheduled on the day before Easter, but it made for some messy traffic getting to our hotel after the cruise.
