edinburgher Posted August 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Will be onboard AMAVerde this Hallow'een on an APT charter. Our first river cruise and despite many ocean cruises we have never been onboard on this particular date. Can anyone give us an idea of what to expect? And will we need to take any sort of costume with us?
Aussie Teen Posted August 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Most APT trips are Australian based and Hallow'een is not celebrated very much in Australia so I don't think you would have to worry about a costume. Maybe you could just wear all black clothes - that is mostly what I take travelling anyway! Lol
Needzavacation Posted August 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2012 We were on AMA during Halloween a few years ago. The staff were in costume during dinner, and the dining room was decorated for Halloween. The menu was Halloween themed. A fun experience, but guests were not in costume. edinburgher Posted August 10, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted August 10, 2012 Thanks to both for helpful replies. Sounds like could be fun, even better if no costume required. It was a relief to read that bit!
