Passport while off ship

Hi All! Everyone in my traveling party has passports which we will be bringing with us. My question is when we go into port, do we need to take them with us or are our driver's licenses enough along with our ship card?

I would rather leave the passports on the ship in the safe, but will take them with me if it is a requirement.

You will not need them on shore. Keep them in the safe.

Government issued ID (ie drivers license) is required. For minors, as long as they have the same last name, they do not need the ID.

Ship card at all times.

Be sure to have a picture on your id ....

And take the ship/port agents phone # with you .

If your sailing NCL it is in the freestyle daily . ;)

Ok I will take the phone number with me and our driver's licenses have pictures on them.
