Has anyone taken Public Bus 33 ?

Has anyone here taken the bus 33 to the Garrison and back and can tell me how reliable this bus is and if you can pay your ticket by the driver ?

Was there this march and will return with my parents but this time I like to see the Garrison (as I missed it at my last visit)
