wangy26 Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Our family of four will be in Copenhagen on Sept 2nd (10 AM to 6 PM) via Celebrity Silhouette. Our ship will dock at C197, which is Langelinie from what I read. We would like to visit Rosenborg Castle and do some walking around old city (like Steve Rick's walking tour). I would really appreciate some advice on what the most efficient way is to see these places with the public transit (where to get on which transit and where to get off, etc.). Thanks very much for the help!
Earl Rosebery Posted August 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2017 AFAIK the 26 bus will take you from the foot of lAngeline pier to Christiansborg Palace with intermediate stops at the top of Nyhaven. be aware there is a lot of construction downtown. Google maps has a lot of the information you need
frederik123456 Posted August 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Langelinie pier is very close to the centre. So it might not be neccesary to use public transport. It is just a 20 minutes walk from the pier/bus stop to Rosenborg castle, and if you want to see The Little mermaid, Kastellet, Amalienborg Castle, those places are all en route to the centre and Rosenborg Castle. I'd suggest to walk to the city passing those site along the way. If you are tired in the afternoon, you can take Bus 26 back to Langelinie from Christiansborg Castle, Kongens Nytorv for instance.
