BlackJack2 Posted July 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2016 Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay? Or stayed in this area of Singapore? And if so, is it close to a MRT subway station?

lahore Posted July 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Haven't stayed at that hotel but everywhere in Singapore CBD and surrounds is close to an MRT and specifically there is one at Clark Quay.
Ebeth63 Posted July 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2016 We stayed there last November and found the location to be good, although we walked most of the time so not sure about MTR. We were happy enough to book again for this Autumn. Buffet breakfast good. Friendly staff.
smtcan Posted July 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2016 We stayed at the Novotel Clarke quay last year. The location was excellent for exploring on foot, by Metro and bum boat. We spent five days before a cruise and really enjoyed the city.
Happy Cruizer Posted August 1, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay? Or stayed in this area of Singapore? And if so, is it close to a MRT subway station? Hi Betsy! We stayed there last yr. It's a very nice hotel but a 8-10 mins (maybe half a mile?) walk to Clarke Quay MRT station (depending on how fast you walk). After being out for the whole day, at the end of each day, I really didn't look forward to the walk back to the hotel. Our next short stay will be at the Peninsular Excelsior Hotel which is a 5 mins walk to City Hall MRT and 6 mins walk to Raffles City.
