Hi everyone,

I"m trying to decide most economical way to travel from hotel to cruise and cruise to airport with a 3 and 5yr olds. Our cruise is from Miami port. Prefer option is flying to fort lauderdale, stay one night and heading to miami cruise port the next day. Is it possible to use UBER or LYFT with two young kids? Will we have to bring carseats for them? Any suggestions on the most economical ways would be much appreciated.

Uber or Lyft from FLL area to POM should be about $40 - but you might need UberXL for 4 plus bags. If your kids are under 5 you will need car seats - the airline will check them for free if you do not use them on the flight.

Taxi will be close to $80 - mini-van/SUV cabs are the same price as a standard cab. Check shared shuttles - usually $15 per person with some discounts for families/kids. SAS (http://www.ridesas.com, QLS, MJS and Go Airport are suggested on this board almost daily.

http://www.sunny.org is a good source for FLL area tourist and hotel info.

Have a good cruise! :)
