DZ Balconies...locked at sea...furniture?

Recommended Posts

DH and I are booked in a DZ balcony guarantee for a coming cruise. I understand that some of them will be locked while we're at sea, but I also read in a recent post that those balconies that are locked may not have furniture. Any truth to this?

I do love surprises, but maybe not when it comes to furniture on the balcony. Hope the person who said there is no furniture on some of the DZ's has the facts wrong. We'll be :( unhappy if we can't sit out there when in port at least.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I don't think there is any furniture on forward facing balconies. The doors are locked when at sea because of the wind and balcony furniture could be blown away or become dangerous projectiles. Bring your own camping or
beach chairs if you want furniture on your balcony.
