What to do in Port Canaveral?

Hi-

We will be in Port Canaveral as a port of call on the Breakaway in mid November 2014. We really are not sure of what to do we are in port from 3pm- 11pm. We love watersports like jet skiing, paddle boarding and kayaking. Does anyone know if and where we can do this and let us know of any other cool attractions and things we can do. We want to be outdoors so we do not want to go to the space station. Also, does anyone know the weather for this time of year is? Thank You!!

Brevard Zoo now also has a zip-line adventure course ... Tree Top Trek ... it is 'aggressive'

There are several Indian River lagoon eco boat rides for spotting Manatee and Dolphin

There are several airboat vendors in the area, Lone Cabbage is one .. google airboat ride Brevard county florida - these will be 10 to 20 miles away from the port

There are several vendors for Kayak Eco Tours in the Canaveral Area - again google is your friend

It is typically a nice time of the year for a walk on the beach .... which is unbroken from Canaveral to Sebastian ... how far do you want to walk?

You can rent fishing gear at Jetty Park fishing pier

There are group and private fishing charters available from the port

You can rent a car and go see nature: manatee park, manatee at Haulover Canal or the barge canal, the Merritt Island wildlife refuge . . . .
