Realblonde474 Posted June 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2014 I'm taking a my first cruise without my husband AND with three ladies from work that I've known for over 10 years. And while I am looking forward to this little getaway I will admit I'm a bit nervous as I don't want to damage our friendship. I haven't had a roommate since college (20 years ago), please give me some advice/tips on how to be a good cabin mate...thanks so much! There are going to be 4 of you...... Have a meeting/understanding that you don't have to do everything together. Everyone needs their own space. If you want to do your own thing.......its okay. :D You are going to have lots of fun Enjoy yourself!!
Realblonde474 Posted June 24, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted June 24, 2014 Thanks! I am too excited and you are right about the layout, 2 per room. Currently there is a discussion about when to arrive in Lauderdale :) I just stated that I am flying in the night before (too risky for me to do it the day of) and here is my hotel reservation. "Please join me in my room for a place to stay or I will see you at the dock" Sometimes you just have to make a decision! :)
