Airbnb pre-cruise

Has anyone done any Airbnb's in the Condado area pre or post cruise? Just looking for actual experience before booking. The one I am looking at has a 'strict' cancellation policy...so I don't want to regret doing it until I am sure.

I booked a condo in Isla Verde back in April and booked the same condo for October. It was the best experience. She even picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the cruise ship. It was right on the beach too.

We didn't do Airbnb but did do vrbo. We were totally happy with our choice. Below is a post I made about it a while back.

When we cruised out of San Juan we were going to need two hotel rooms so I checked into vrbo instead. We found a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment/condo in Condado on Ashford Ave. Their listing is "Best Location: Between the Marriott Stellaris and the Renaissance La Concha." It was just a little over a block off the beach. We took the bus into San Juan to explore on our full day pre-cruise, and took a cab on our cruise day. It worked well for us and was a bit cheaper than two hotel rooms would have been.
