Topsham Posted July 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Found several photos of interiors of PACIFIC EDEN ex STATENDAM or might be PACIFIC ARIA or RYNDAM. I'm blown by her! Or rather... how it appears it might be in the renderings. Completely different.. if it appears as it seems...I think she will be a great ship! Look at the photos.... Lido, dining room, Ocean Bar.... hard to see what it used to be but once you get your bearings... easy to see what they have done. Note, the dining room is just one lower dining room. The well is enclosed completely. On the upper levels... seem to be two new small restaurants. The new hull colour looks smart too... and the blue top on the funnel. Classiccruiser777 Posted August 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2015 I think the ship looks much nicer than in the HAL decor and livery. I'm sorry to see HAL selling the smaller ships. Having experienced the QE2, Franconia, Independence and the Statendam (1968) and recently Oceania's Regatta, the small ships offer an intimacy and connection with the sea that the far larger ships don't have. It is also nice to get to ports that are off the beaten path without being swarmed over by thousands of tourists.
