There will be 8 of us in mid-50's to mid-60's. We did a tour last visit to St. Martin but would like beach time this time. We will be docked from 8-4 on a Thursday. Looking for something we can get in the water, have chairs and food available and closer to the port.

Thanks!

Why not go somewhere with choices. Grand Case (30 -35 minutes) would make for a lovely beach/dining/shopping day for your group IMHO. Simpson Bay is another great beach that has Mary's Boon and Karakter beach bar (20 minutes) and would be worth looking in to as well.

You can taxi to Little Bay in 10 minutes and it's fine for a couple of hours IMHO and then have lunch in town and do some shopping.

Dawn beach might also work for your group and it is also about 20 minutes via taxi.
