Society ISlands - Best date to go?

What is the weather like for a Society ISlands cruise? We don't want to go during the hottest "season"..what about rain?

Any replies are greatly appreciated concerning weather there.

You can get rain any time. Sometimes just tropical downpours that last a few minutes. But the dry season (their "winter") is June-August, with May and September fairly dry. Hot and humid in November and December I've heard. I've been in May and June twice, and it's been beautiful, and April when it was beautiful too, but hotter and more humid. But the rain is pretty unpredictable, but in general not a big problem.
