Picture-A-Week 2014 - Week 15

A gray, dreary, rainy day yesterday, but the ice on the Detroit river is finally breaking up and heading south.

Ice breaking up around here means floods.

Hope you are going through that.

This is all the spring we have so far this year.

It was very foggy this morning which left a heavy dew on everything including the flowers.

No flooding near me, but there was some minor flooding several miles south of us. All is good now though :)

Nice photos. Our grass is starting to green-up, no flowers yet. Hopefully it won't be too long.

That is good news.

Before we left for our cruise in March, all 3 rivers had tons of ice of them and when it did finally start to warm up, low areas were flooded. We live on a very high hill so we don't have to worry about floods.

DH just got the spring feed on the yard last Thursday -- it will be a while before the grass greens up and starts to grow.

Unusual to capture 2 different kinds of butterflies at the same time in the same spot.

Love the peacock. Our local zoo where I grew up had a pair of albino peafowl - beautiful birds.

Catching up ... Not a great photo but the only one for that week (and the parrot was sitting in the middle of a tree a fair distance away, so I was glad for what I got)
