Since you are twice the amount of a regular car, I would think that it would be double amount I mentioned.

Yes, there are Palapas but they are limited. So you need to get there early.

Can anyone advise on taxi cost from port to Cas Abao beach? We are two adults in port from 1pm-10pm.

it will take about 30 minutes to get there and the taxi fare is US 60 one way for 1 up to 4 people minimum. you can try to get two people to join you
