Christmas Eve Day in Cozumel

I've been to Coz about 10 times but we've always hung out at the beach. This year my hubby and I will be there on Christmas Eve on the Dream for a 9 hour day. We have decided to skip the beach and spend our day in the downtown area. We will mostly be walking like we always do when in Europe. Are there any don't miss things downtown or any Christmas activities that will be going on? We are there from 8-5.
