Western Europe cruise

I would like to visit Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands in one trip. Please advise if you have done such a trip. It could be cruise and train combo. thanks

I'm not sure about the Ireland part, but HAL used to do an itinerary sailing from the Netherlands to Scotland.

There are cruises from Southampton which take in Ireland and Scotland, returning to S'ton; you could travel to the Netherlands via train to London then under the Channel, or there are fast ferries from east coast ports to various ports on the other side; you could take a train to Hull on the NE coast of England and catch the daily overnight ferry to the Netherlands.
