Newcastle Car Hire

Will be in Newcastle in April and would like to be able to pick up a Hire car at the port or as close as possible to it...Most rentals seem to be avail at Airport which is some distance away ..anyone have any info on companies who service the cruise ports....thanks

Hertz has an office at 2/122 Hannell St, Newcastle, about a $10 taxi trip distance from the cruise terminal. Avis is at 33 Maitland Rd, Mayfield.

Yes ...thankyou for that...I rang Hertz and they look to be the best and the closest...also a bus runs straight out front...so they may be helpful also...cheers
