Open Market

I have seen in some posts there is an open market in Puerto Limon. I have 2 questions. 1) does anyone know if the market is open on Sunday? and, 2) is is walking distance from the ship (Celebrity)?

Since we are there on a Sunday, many things are closed and we have 11 hours in port -

I have never been to Limon but in general markets near cruise ships are open whenever a ship comes to town. You are the reason the market exists so they won't miss out on the chance of a sale.

It is right at the end of the pier, you have to walk through to go into town, as I recall.

Wonderful market, it even has an open air mani/pedi place.

HI burrma, we met on the Eclipse, Feb 2013 - I joined a few shore excursions with your group.

The mani /pedi place there is open air, quite rustic. So no, no fish pedicure.

I have always wanted to try a fish pedicure, have you done it?
