Warnemunde and steps into town

Recommended Posts

Hi, 1st time poster here!

Last year in Warnemunde I was able to walk from Eclipse into the town with crutches.

This year it looks like I will be in a wheelchair.

I remember that I had to negotiate steps down, walk along, and then steps up again, in order to get under the railway.

Please does anyone know if there is a wheelchair friendly way around this problem?

Many thanks.

We were just there a month ago. We discovered that if you look up at the directional signs, there is one with a wheelchair symbol. It directs you to the path that is accessible. You need to go all the way to the end of the pier and then around. Very easy and nice port.

Briliant!! Thank you :D

Last time I was so intent on keeping upright on crutches I didn't look around.....well not until I reached the ice-cream shop!

I shall pay more attention this time. :)
