Liquor in Stateroom Alaska Cruise?

Taking land tour first then cruising, what or how can I have liquor in room for cocktails. Can I purchase bottle while on land before boarding ship and have in my room??

No problem. You can even bring bottles of wine to the dining room Princess generally charges a corkage fee when you bring the wine to the dining room. But in your room is no problem at all and no extra charges.

Most cruise lines say in the fine print somewhere that you can't BYOB, but I've never heard of a problem as long as it's in your checked luggage, not the carry-on.

liquor,but have had it in our carry on and then kept it hidden in the stateroom.Never had a problem.

We have always taken liquor on our cruises (also packed in our checked baggage) and we openly keep it out for drinks at night. Never had a problem. Also have had places where my husband would purchase 6-packs of soft drinks while in port and bring back on the ship with him. No problems there either.
