wolfman-jack Posted August 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Taking land tour first then cruising, what or how can I have liquor in room for cocktails. Can I purchase bottle while on land before boarding ship and have in my room??
fti Posted August 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Welcome to cruisecritic! No problem. You can even bring bottles of wine to the dining room Princess generally charges a corkage fee when you bring the wine to the dining room. But in your room is no problem at all and no extra charges. Yukon Posted August 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Most cruise lines say in the fine print somewhere that you can't BYOB, but I've never heard of a problem as long as it's in your checked luggage, not the carry-on. Murray

elceecarr Posted August 30, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2006 We have always taken liquor on our cruises (also packed in our checked baggage) and we openly keep it out for drinks at night. Never had a problem. Also have had places where my husband would purchase 6-packs of soft drinks while in port and bring back on the ship with him. No problems there either.
