Playa Corona with Kids?

We will be traveling with our 9, 7, and 3 year old. We aren't looking into anything fancy. Leaning toward Palancar. But rethinking a snorkel-from-shore location. I read somewhere that Playa Corona has a small sandy tide pool that is great for kids? Is this true?

Yes there's a small beach area for the kids. I like the place. I personally think it's just as good as the Money Bar (but that's probably a bit of a hold over from MB's Dzul Ha days). I like Palancar too if just beaching it and there's a tons of ships in or if we're not snorkeling. I'd recommend wearing water shoes over flips if going to PC or MB. Or water socks for inside your flippers.
