Scubagirrl??

Does anybody know what happened to Scubagirrl? :confused: I'm missing her expertise in the Bahamas forum. Thanks for any info.

Me too. I haven't seen any posts for a couple of months. :(

I saw a post on one of the other boards that she's been banned again for being helpful. (apparently locals can't recommend or mention the names of any place or tour without being banned). Funny, I see some posts here that are apparent self promotion and they are not banned. Oh well. I guess we'll just find her elsewhere.

Great.... I guess that explains it; "Big Brother" enforcing policies. Do you know of any other New Providence/Nassau locals on the boards giving tips/advice/help/etc?

It means that the rest of us who've been to Nassau need to pick up the slack. Cruise Critic wouldn't work if people just came on here to ask questions and never came back to report their experiences or give tips. It wasn't fair to Scubagirrl to expect her to answer every question. She probably has a life. :)

Yeah, you're right. It was just nice being able to get current information about stuff that travelers/cruisers usually wouldn't notice or know; like repair progress on hurricane damaged beaches/restaurants/businesses, building progress of Baha Mar Resort, Clifford Heritage Park improvement progress, etc. Hopefully she'll be back soon.

Yeah, me too. She had all the current information and was so helpful.
