Stockholm Itinerary

Not to differ with Bruce, there will be taxi's there, but are there enough taxis for 3,000 passengers, or however many are on your ship?, simply put NO.

There have been people who said that they reserved a taxi to meet them at the dock. They did this in the port before Stockholm, gave them the time and hopefully one was waiting for them.

Ourselves, when we docked it was a Sunday and the #76 bus doesn't run on Sunday. So they sort of sent several HoHo buses to the dock and we used that as transportation to get around the city. Not cheap, but we really didn't have time to be choosey.

Cheers

It does. It starts to run at around 9 on Sunday mornings.

Is this something new? If so, that is great news.

I know for a fact that when we toured, maybe 3 years ago, it didn't run on Sunday, hence we were forced to do the HoHo buses.

I don't know if it is a new thing but the bus does run on all days of the week (including Sundays) although it's schedule isn't as dense on Saturdays and Sundays as on weekdays.
