Is Plantation too far . . .

. . . from the Port of Miami. We've booked there for our pre-cruise night in January but not being familiar with the area, am worried that it is too far from the Port. They do not offer shuttles but will let us leave our car. Any help will be appreciated. Have no clue where to stay!!

From Port of Miami it's pretty far. With a car you may be better off with the Embassy Suites by the Miami Airport. They'll let you leave the car there. Hyatt Summerfield Suites has a park and cruise package available through parksleepfly.com
